Young Gloucestershire
Local metal recycler EMR Gloucester, based on The Old Airfield, continues to support Young Gloucestershire in a partnership which was launched in 2021.
Young Gloucestershire supports young people aged between 11 and 25 who are experiencing challenges in their lives, enabling them to have the confidence, motivation and skills to improve their situation. The charity provides training and advice to enable individuals to develop the skills that they need to thrive as they reach adolescence and adulthood.
EMR Gloucester has offered a donation, as part of the metal recycler’s Young Futures Reimagined initiative, to support the charity’s programme for young people between the ages of 16 and 25 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). This will allow 60 young people to complete the programme, enabling them to gain the qualifications and support they need to find employment.
