Pitch 2 Progress
Pitch 2 Progress use sports as a vehicle to engage young people and adults from inner city Birmingham, through targeted training, workshops, centre based youth club activities, and mentoring.
The charity believe recreational and structured sports can become the foundation for equipping young adults with the key life skills they need to stay healthy, secure better jobs, and make a positive contribution to the communities they live in, all the while progressing towards positive and healthy futures for themselves.
Their programmes target young people at risk of becoming NEET, aiming to empower them with essential life skills, foster entrepreneurial spirit, and cultivate a sense of responsibility towards the broader community.
Funding from Building Brighter Future's will enable the charity to create a transformative programme for 14 to 18 year olds, which empowers young social entrepreneurs, addresses unemployment concerns, and promotes healthier food options in their community.
