Kingstanding Regeneration Trust
The Kingstanding Regeneration Trust aims to help young people aged 16 to 29 thrive in employment. Their programme is specifically for young people not in education, employment, or training.
The donation from Building Brighter Future’s will enable the Trust to support 10 disadvantaged young people through its Introduction to Construction course.
Each of the 10 young people will work towards completing:
- 90 hours of work experience
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS)
- Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) Health and Safety Level 1
- Certification in Working from Heights, Manual Handling, Hazardous Substances, Asbestos Awareness
Whilst the initial course is designed to be short - to maximise the amount of young people they can reach – the Trust maintains contact with individuals for as long as they need.
